Delete Your LakbayGO Account

This page explains how to request the deletion of your account and associated data for the LakbayGO (rider) and LakbayGO Driver mobile apps.

How to request account deletion

Send an email to support@lakbaygo.com with:

1. The subject line: Account Deletion Request
2. The mobile number registered to your LakbayGO account (including the +63 prefix)
3. Whether you use the LakbayGO rider app, the LakbayGO Driver app, or both

We will verify that the request comes from the account owner and permanently delete the account within 30 days of verification. You will receive a confirmation email when the deletion is complete.

You do not need to have the app installed to make this request.

Before you request deletion

• Complete or cancel any ongoing trip. Accounts with a trip in progress cannot be deleted until the trip ends.
• Drivers: withdraw your earnings first. Any remaining wallet balance cannot be paid out after the account is deleted.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:

• Your profile — name, mobile number, email address, and profile photo
• Your login credentials — the account can no longer be accessed and your mobile number is freed for a new registration
• Uploaded documents, including driver's license and vehicle document images (for driver-partners)
• Vehicle records and photos (for driver-partners)
• Saved payment methods
• Saved and recent places

If you hold both a rider and a driver account registered to the same mobile number, both accounts are deleted together.

What is kept, and for how long

Some records are retained after account deletion because Philippine law requires it:

• Trip and payment records (dates, routes, fares, payouts, and receipts) are kept for up to ten (10) years to comply with tax (BIR) and transport (LTFRB) regulations. These records are no longer linked to your name, mobile number, or profile after deletion.
• Records related to fraud investigations or legal disputes may be kept where the law requires or permits it.
